NIPO FMS Server

The NIPO FMS service is responsible for passing around files between Waiting, Working and Exit rooms. It requires access to the Working Room folders of the NIPO CATI / Web Master, and the additional folders listed below. The Working Room is private to the NIPO Fieldwork System, but the Waiting and Exit room are expected to be network locations on a file share that is available to NIPO Fieldwork System users (excluding interviewers). As a service, the NIPO FMS Server must have the read / write privileges for those folders.

In the overview below, [network location] refers to any location on the network. The Waiting and Exit room do not have to be located on the same file share.

Default folders of the NIPO FMS Server

The NIPO FMS Service expects a subfolder Default in the TemplateRelatedFiles folder containing the default OdinTemplates and Stylesheets (CSS) for use with NIPO CAWI. Other sub-folders make up the files related to the survey.
