Setting up the NIPO ODIN Demon

The NIPO ODIN Demon will typically have been configured correctly during installation. Any configuration changes must be applied by editing the registry of the web server.

Root key 64-bit: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\NIPO\OdinDemon]

Root key 32-bit: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NIPO\OdinDemon]

Mastername

<none>

Sets the NIPO CATI / Web Master name. In a DMZ-to-LAN setup this is typically an IP address followed by a port

Protocol

<none>

Sets the protocol used for the name. In a DMZ-to-LAN setup this is typically PureTcpIp.

OdDemonLogDirectory

<none>

Folder where the logs are stored. Folder must exist.

OdDemonLogLevel

<none>

Level of logging where 0 means no logging and the height of the value specifies the log detail (maximum 5). High values may impact performance of the NIPO ODIN Demon

OdDemonLogNumFiles

5

The number of logs to store at maximum. No more than this amount of files are created. Log files are numbered by their extension, where .001 is always the first log file.
