*HELP (definition)
Purpose
Defines a page of text.
Syntax
*HELP [n]
Description
Defines a page of text. This command must be specified at the beginning of a line. The text consists of all following lines up to the first new command at the beginning of a line, excluding **, *? and *FONT (switching) commands.
If a numbered *HELP screen is followed by a *PAGE command this page will act as the next help screen. In this way it is possible to divide your help screen into multiple pages. When the help page is called two new buttons will appear on the question screen to go to the previous or next screen.
Arguments
n
This is the number of the text page. If omitted, the specified help text is made available on all questions.
Remarks
The help text remains unchanged and available until a new page is defined with *HELP. The help text is available from the point in the questionnaire that it was defined. An interviewer may press Help or F3 to view the help text. If an empty page of text is defined (*HELP with a mew command immediately on the next line) it is no longer available.

In this example, a help screen with 2 pages is defined.
