Purpose
On questions using *NON, sets the minimum waiting time before a non-response may be given.
Syntax
*WAITCR <n|[expression]>
Description
On questions using *NON, sets the minimum waiting time before a non-response may be given. Before the waiting time elapses, the interviewer / respondent cannot press the ENTER key to proceed. However, the interview may be continued without waiting when any other answer is given.
Arguments
n|expression
This is a positive integer that specifies the number of units of 1/18 second.
Remarks
- Default value is 0 (no wait time).

In this example, it takes 3 seconds before the interview can be continued without giving any answer.
