Using Custom Sample Table Fields
New custom fields may be created by the Fieldwork Manager using the NIPO FMS only.
All fields that are created by the Fieldwork Manager can be retrieved in the NIPO ODIN questionnaire using the *SAMPLEDATA command. Define the field names with *SAMPLEDATA as variables in your questionnaire and the variable will be filled automatically with the contents of the database field (if any) when starting the interview. When the interview is ended (either by appointment, suspension or by completion)the database field is updated with the current contents of the variable. Note that sample table fields are only updated upon termination - never during the interview. When using the *STRAT command within a NIPO ODIN questionnaire, checks all fields in the database defined by *SAMPLEDATA as if already updated.
