A dedicated server for the Microsoft SQL Server is strongly recommended. Alternatively, for small NIPO Fieldwork System environments you may install the Microsoft SQL Server on the same workstation where the NIPO Fieldwork System is installed. Microsoft SQL Server Express editions are supported but not recommended for production environments as they may put limits on the amount of concurrent connections or the size of the database. Check your Microsoft SQL Server license agreement and documentation in advance. |
