Prevent Re-Registration of Libraries
The NIPO FMS Client automatically registers a required library (FmsServer.tlb) every time the application starts up. On some configurations, the user currently logged in may not have the required privileges to register the library, causing the application to fail. The following steps are required to fix this issue:
To fix the library registration issue
- Start the NIPO FMS Client as a user with administrative privileges. This registers the libraries.
- Close the application.
- Change the application shortcut and add the parameter
/noregister.
This procedure prevents re-registration on subsequent starts of the application.
