The NIPO HTML Generator

The HTML Generator can be used to layout your NIPO ODIN questionnaire in NIPO CAWI and NIPO CAPI, using templates and stylesheets. The NIPO HTML Generator is a dynamic generator, which translates the NIPO ODIN questionnaire script question by question into HTML code. The NIPO HTML Generator translates the visual part of a NIPO ODIN script into HTML code. This means that HTML is generated "on the fly". Each question will go through the generator every time it is due. Thus, the generation of HTML is done live.

The generated HTML provides almost all functionality available for NIPO CATI, with a few exceptions. However, typically a questionnaire can be developed using the NIPO ODIN Scripting Language, and may transparently be used for NIPO CATI, NIPO CAWI and NIPO CAPI.

The NIPO HTML Generator is integrated in the NIPO OdinServlet that is implemented on the NIPO Web Server, in the NIPO CAPI Client and in the NIPO ODIN Developer, enabling a Preview or test run of NIPO CAWI and NIPO CAPI questionnaires.
