NIPO ODIN Version 5.17
Changes in NIPO ODIN Developer 5.14
- For all exports, you can now combine Include open-ended answers and Retain ODIN data format. The open-ended answers are appended as fixed-length fields at the end of each record.
- For all exports, open-ended answers are now defined and exported even if no open-ended answers have been given for any of the exported interview records.
- Fixed an issue in the SPSS-PC export where using decimals in
*NUMBER definitions caused the next two questions to refer to the same data field while shifting all remaining data positions, when not retaining the NIPO ODIN Data format. - For multiple coded questions, the export setting Use code numbers for Multiple Dichotomy fields no longer creates variables for the entire range of codes if there are gaps in the code numbering of the question.
- For all exports, if using a single question with multiple
*OPEN codes, the corresponding variables are no longer created in reverse order. - Fixed an issue where multiple
*OPEN codes in a single question caused the export to create too many variables. - Fixed an issue where running a NIPO CAWI preview could pop up an error "A problem occurred while writing the temporary html file, please check if your template directory is setup correctly".
- Fixed an issue where (ranges of) variables were not exported because the filtering suggested these variables remained empty. The NIPO ODIN Developer no longer makes assumptions about the contents.
- Fixed an issue where the error message "Error: Illegal array index: 0" was incorrectly reported for scripts referring to array indexes by variable.
- Fixed an issue where the message "An error occurred during import: Cannot access a closed file" appeared during an Nfield Code import.
- The NIPO ODIN Developer no longer crashes on a syntax check if a closing quote is missing in a
*BUT button text definition.
