Set Permissions Based on Users

By default the NIPO CATI / Web Master sets permissions based on the workstation name. This links the permissions to a physical location rather than to user. If users of the NIPO CATI / Web Manager may access the NIPO CATI / Web Master from more than one physical location, permissions should rather be based on network user accounts.

To allow permissions based on users, a registry key setting must be added to the registry:

Root key 64-bit: [HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Wow6432Node\NIPO\CATIMaster\Security]

Root key 32-bit: [HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\NIPO\CATIMaster\Security]

Value: PermissionsBasedOnUsers=Y

Note:
You can not combine permissions based on both users and workstations. Changing the configuration requires reassigning permissions to users.
