Enabling Required Protocols
The NIPO Fieldwork System services (NIPO CATI / Web Master, NIPO FMS Server and the NIPO Web Server) access the database using the TCP / IP protocol. Ensure that access using this protocol is enabled in the SQL Server Configuration Manager.

Note:
You will be required to set up a database connection for three services. Two of those services, The NIPO CATI / Web Master and the NIPO FMS Server, require the same connection protocol using the same network name of the Microsoft SQL Server even though one service connects using ODBC and the other connects directly to the database server on the default port (1433).
