18 February 2025

On Tuesday, 18 February, we will release a new version of Nfield. This update includes a new quota collapsed view and some smaller improvements.

A new Quota Collapsed view
|
In our efforts to further improve the experience of users that are working in the Nfield Manager, we have implemented some more changes to the Quota tab.
When the quota frame of a survey has nested or interlocked quota variables, the frame will be displayed in a collapsed view by default. This makes it much easier to configure your quotas without scrolling through a long list. You can expand and manage variables and levels as you need, keeping everything neat and organized.
Additionally, with this update we have significantly improved the loading speed of quota frames, especially for surveys with large frames, with many nested variables and levels.
The changes will be noticeable in the Monitor Fieldwork / Quota tab (as shown in the screenshot below) and in the Setup Survey / Quota / Define Targets tab in the Nfield Manager.

As a further user experience improvement, the Reports tab of a survey will now only appear in the Nfield Manager after a script has been published. Previously, the tab was always visible, even when the script was not published. Clicking on it would show a blank screen, which caused confusion. | |
