Marking an Answer as Partially Coded

In some cases, for example when Code Frame changes are not your task within the coding project, you may be unable to fully code an open-ended answer. In such cases it is a good idea to mark it as partially coded, so that the answer may be reviewed at a later time.

To mark an open-ended answer as partially coded

• Click the Mark Partially Coded check-box for this open-ended answer. To unmark, simply click it again.

When open-ended answers are marked as partially coded, you can use the workbase filter to browse through these for the current selection. Partially marked answers can also be found using the Question, Respondent and Answer overviews.
