Setting Interviewer Number Ranges

By default, any interviewer number is available for allocation to new interviewer records when they are first added. You can limit the available numbers by setting up permissible ranges. This makes it possible to distinguish more easily between groups of interviewers, for instance interviewers that work in the call center and interviewers that work at home using the remote NIPO CATI Client.

For example, if you set up the ranges 1000-2000 for interviewers working at home and 3000-4000 for interviewers in the call center, new interviewer records can only be given interviewer numbers between 1000 and 2000 or 3000 and 4000. Numbers below 1000, above 4000 and between 2001 and 2999 may not be used.

To add an interviewer number range

  1. Select Configure > Options… from the menu.
