NIPO Fieldwork System Version 1.14
Setting Interviewer History Span
You can set the time period for which information is displayed about interviewers, for example in the Working History view. This way, the amount of information you see on your screen will not be unmanageably large and (partially) out of date.
To set the number of days for which interviewing information is displayed
- Select Configure > Options… from the menu.
- Select the Interviewer tab. A dialog appears:
- If you wish to limit the number of days for which interviewer information is displayed, select Use history span and go to step 5.
- If you wish to display all interviewer information irrespective of its age, clear Use history span and go to step 6.
- In the History span box, type the number of days for which you want interviewer information to be displayed in NIPO FMS. If you leave this box blank, information will be shown for the last 365 days.
- Click OK to close.
When an interviewer record is deleted, it is stored in a back-up store. It can be retrieved from this store, and made available again. However, you can re-use interviewer numbers by specifying a time period after which they become available again after deletion. For example, if you delete interviewer 28, and the time period is set to 90 days, you can create a new interviewer record using number 28 after 90 days have passed.
To enable interviewer numbers to be re-used after a certain number of days have elapsed
- Select Configure > Options… from the menu.
- Select the Interviewer tab.
- Select Use history span. Please note that this option affects the number of days for which interviewer information is displayed in NIPO FMS. This option is described above.
- In the History span box, type the number of days you want to elapse after an interviewer record is deleted before the number becomes available again.
- Select Interviewer Reusable.
- Click OK to close.
